Based in Gwangju, South Korea, and founded in 2019, N. CER is a solution developer for early diagnosis of dementia with technology transfer from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology or GIST. In August 2021, N. CER raised KRW 2. 3 billion in series A funding led by Coolidge Corner Investment, with participation from Enlight Ventures, Cosine Investment, DT&Investment, G1 IP LAW FIRM, and Venture Box.
The company provides services for early diagnosis and prevention of dementia based on changes in brain blood flow during sensory stimulation. N. CER plans utilize the August 2021 funding to obtain precise data and a development engine for early-stage dementia screening.
