In September 2021, NAVER Webtoon and Premier Partners acquired a 64. 42 majority stake in Munpia Inc. for KRW 108. 2 billion.
The current representatives of the company are Hwancheol Kim and Dongun Shin. Munpia Inc. operates business as a online novel platform and community. Any member who subscribed to Munipa can publish his/her novel.
There are different levels for writers for publishing the novels on the platform. Members can also read the novels based on subscription service.
