Motion provides artificial intelligence (AI)-based tool that works similar to a personal assistant, which optimizes daily tasks as per the user requirement. In September 2025, Motion raised USD 38 million in series C funding led by new investor Scale Venture Partners, with participation from returning investors HOF Capital, 468 Capital, SignalFire, and Y Combinator. New investors Valor Equity Partners, Fellows Fund, Leonis Capital, and individual investors also participated in the round. The company provides AI-based productivity software with a wide range of features, including a calendar, project manager, task manager, and meeting assistant, that creates an optimized schedule, individual plans for the team, prioritizes and adds tasks to the schedule to ensure tasks are completed within the deadline, and sets up meetings.

Motion offers its product and services to multiple service businesses, including IT service providers, marketing agencies, design agencies, law firms, consulting businesses, tradespeople, repair and installation firms, and real estate management. Motion generates revenue from the subscription of its software packages, which include individual (USD 34 per month), and team (USD 20 per month per user). The company plans to use the September 2025 funding to develop its agentic work suite and expand its business operations.
