Moonbirds

Based in the US, and founded by Kevin Rose, in 2021, PROOF Holdings, Inc. doing business as Moonbirds, operates as non-fungible tokens (NFT) collective company that allows users to play games while earning money. The company raised USD 50 million as series A funding, in August 2022, from new investor Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) along with the participation of Collab+Currency Management, Flamingo DAO, LLC, SV Angel, and Vaynerfund. PROOF is an operator of media, podcasts, and in-person events for people passionate about non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

The company offers Moonbirds an avatar-based collection game which is a collection of 10,000 utility-enabled PFPs and a pool of rarity-powered traits. The firm has a private group of 1000 dedicated NFT collectors and artists. PROOF’s Moonbirds and Oddities NFT collections as of August 2022 had been moved to CC0 (Creative Commons Zero), meaning that the art would now be free to distribute, augment, and commercialize without the owner’s consent. The company will use the August 2022 funding to plan expansion, strengthen its creative community, develop artist-centric products, create valuable tools for Web3, and launch a new NFT collection of 20,000 profiles.

We plan to enter a growth phase, including planning. Photos that will hit the market by 2023 are called Moonbirds Mythics.
