About
Founded in 2022 and based in California, US, Mojave Energy Systems, Inc. provides thermal energy solutions. With a focus on revolutionizing air conditioning and dehumidification technologies, products are designed to enhance efficiency and reduce operating costs for a wide range of commercial applications. In April 2023, Mojave raised a large amount of seed funding from investor Alumni Ventures Group.
As of August 2022, the company's CEO is Phil Farese. In December 2024, Mojave Energy Systems, Inc. raised USD 9. 5 million in series B funding co-led by returning investors At One Ventures and Fifth Wall Ventures, with participation from another new investor Earth Venture Capital.
Other new investors Alumni Ventures Group, Myriad Venture Partners, and Starshot Capital also participated in the round. The company’s flagship product, the Mojave Oasis, uses advanced liquid desiccant regeneration technologies, offering two distinct systems to redefine air conditioning efficiency. The first, an all-thermal system, employs surplus heat from the compressor to evaporate water collected from the desiccant, effectively enabling desiccant reuse. The second, an electrochemical system, leverages a unique shuttle-promoted electrolyte removal (super) electrodialysis process to recover desiccant from collected water, boasting unprecedented efficiency and resourcefulness.
Mojave's products seamlessly integrate a liquid desiccant system, prioritizing humidity management, with a modern vapour compression system that excels in temperature control. These systems operate independently, permitting optimized control over both humidity and temperature, yielding significant cost and energy savings. Mojave Oasis excels in applications requiring air temperatures at or below 40 degrees Fahrenheit to remove moisture from indoor environments. It boasts exceptional dehumidification efficiency, as evidenced by an impressive ISMRE2 rating of 9.
2 lbs/kWh, surpassing industry standards.
