Based in Delhi, India, and founded in 2021 by Raghavendra Pratap Singh, Aman Tibrewal, and Pulkit Baldev, Mbook Technology Private Limited, d. b. a. In August 2022, Metalbook Inc. raised USD 5 million in seed funding led by Axilor Ventures, with participation from Foundamental, RTP Global, and Stride Ventures. The company provides a SaaS (software as a service) platform that integrates the entire supply chain process beginning from manufacturing the raw material to delivering it to customers. The platform allows metal industry leaders to purchase, sell, access finance, and get logistics quotes instantly for all iron and steel requirements.
In addition, the platform allows customers to place a request for iron and steel products, as well as offers value additions to customers with logistics and managing the entire supply chain. As of August 2022, Metalbook has a client base of more than 750 buyers across India, having varied requirements for fabrication and processing. Metalbook plans to use its proceeds from August 2022 funding for the development of its platform, expansion of its geographical footprint, improvement of processing centers, and increase in human resources.
