Founded in 2001 by Thomas Moleski and Floyd Lacey Lowery, and based in Indiana, the US, Medix Specialty Vehicles, LLC. , also known as Medix Ambulance is a manufacturer of ambulances providing essential services such as emergency response and patient transport. As of 2021, the company staffs over 190 employees operating five manufacturing plants dedicating over 127,000 sq ft, to modular production, paint, R&D, special projects, and efficient Type II production. In 2021, Demers Braun Crestline, a subsidiary of Demers Braun Ambulance manufacturer acquired Medix Specialty Vehicles.

The company’s product portfolio comprises Type I, II, and III ambulances. The ambulances have facilities for patient care such as suction aspirators, oxygen outlets, O2 cylinder retentions, IV holders, and Cot mount. Models of Type I and III ambulances include Metro Express 153, RP90ES, MSV-II 157, and MSV-II 170 while Type II includes SRH-148AL and SRH-148WD. Type III models also include Metro Express BLW90, and MSV-II 170.
