Established in 2015 and based in Beijing, China, LandSpace operates as a launch vehicle manufacturer that mainly provides launch vehicles used in travel and other related fields. It has R&D centers in Beijing, Shanghai, and Xi'an, an engine intelligent manufacturing base in Huzhou, and a rocket manufacturing base in Jiaxing. The company has obtained the national certification of specialized, sophisticated and innovative small giant enterprise. In 2018, the ZQ-1 carrier rocket was launched.

In September 2020, LandSpace raised CNY 1. 2 billion in series C funding. In December 2024, it raised CNY 900 million in venture funding from new investor China Manufacturing Transformation and Upgrading Fund Company. The company mainly develops commercial space launch vehicles.

Products include ZQ-1, ZQ-2, ZQ-3, TQ-12A, and TQ-15A. ZQ-2 is a liquid oxygen-methane launch vehicle. ZQ-3 is a reusable liquid oxygen-methane launch vehicle that will make its first flight in 2025. TQ-12A is a liquid oxygen-methane engine.

LandSpace also provides launch services, commercial space transportation, and testing services. Products are mainly used in travel and other related fields. The company generates revenue by providing commercial space launch vehicles such as ZQ-2, ZQ-3, and TQ-12A. The company will use the venture funding for the development, testing, and production of reusable liquid oxygen and methane launch vehicles.
