Based in Warrington, UK, and founded in 2020 by Larry Yogel, COO Mark Glynn, CIO Chris Evans, and Robin Engelson, Kterio Building Intelligence, a. k. a. Kterio is a real estate SaaS (software as a subscription) company that focuses on addressing inefficiencies in the management and maintenance of building physical assets.

In August 2022, Kterio Building Intelligence raised USD 10 million in venture funding led by Round Hill Ventures, with participation from Brighton Ventures. As of August 2022, Joe Stolarski is the CEO of Kterio Building Intelligence. The company provides a building digital operating system (B-DOS), a cloud-based platform that enables building owners, managers, and facility engineers with real-time access and control of every building, asset, and device. The platform offers a wider range of services, including performance monitoring, building optimization, sustainability reporting, ESG reporting, compliance management, energy monitoring, auditing, budgeting and forecasting, utility management, real estate portfolio benchmarking, alarm management, call and event management, predictive maintenance analytics, maintenance strategy optimization, location services, air quality, security, and personalized lighting and temperature to transforms existing offices, hospitals, and distribution facilities into smart buildings.

Kterio plans to use its proceeds from August 2022 funding to scale out its real estate SaaS business in Europe and North America, accelerate product development, and expand sales and marketing.
