Returning investors Citta Capital, Acrew Capital, Darling Ventures, and IT Farm, also participated in the round.
The company gathered the world's biggest longitudinal, annotated speech data set for machine learning and developed the first clinical-grade voice biomarker diagnosis, assessing the severity of depression and anxiety in real-time. Kintsugi voice biomarker technology can use 20 seconds of freeform speech to pick up on anxiety and clinical depression. The Voice Biomarker API (KiVA) from Kintsugi approximately doubles the accuracy of depression identification in the current standard of treatment. The company will use this February 2022 funding to advance its lead in detecting signs of mental health conditions across the U.
S. and abroad.
