Founded in 2011 and based in Bengaluru, India, Kinara Capital Private Limited, formerly known as Visage Holdings and Finance Private Limited, and a. k. a Kinara Capital, a non-banking finance company that provides loans to small and medium enterprises. The company was founded by CEO Hardika Shah.


In April 2022, Kinara Capital raised INR 3. 8 billion in series E funding led by new investor Nuveen, with participation from another new investor Triple Jump. Later, October 2022, the firm raised INR 2 billion in venture funding led by new investor British International Investment, with participation from returning investors Nuveen and Triple Jump. The Company offers microfinance and commercial capital solutions to small enterprises with an interest rate of 26-28% per annum.


Its products include term loans for purchasing new and used machinery and assets, working capital, and credit line for working capital needs. In March 2020, Kinara Capital launched a business loans program with an upfront 1% processing fee deduction called HerVikas to accelerate the financial inclusion of women entrepreneurs in India. Kinara Capital provides collateral-free business loans in the range of Rs 1-30 lakhs to a range of micro, small and medium enterprises from manufacturing industries to general retail shops to service businesses. Kinara Capital offers both digital and doorstep customer service options with 24-hour direct disbursements and flexible payment options on 400 plus platforms such as Google Pay.


Kinara Capital generated generates revenue by offering fintech solutions to India’s small business entrepreneurs. The company plans to go deeper into the markets in existing geographies and aims to expand to newer ones with products such as embedded finance, to work with other value-chain products.
