About

Founded in 2023 and based in Seoul, South Korea, KAITUS develops SkyDome, an aircraft system providing solutions and defence as well as aerospace security using drones with AI-based software. In April 2024, KAITUS raised venture funding from investor Metarial Venture Capital. As of April 2024, the company is led by CEO Jihyun Moon. The company's flagship product, the SkyDome System, is an aircraft system (C-UAS) solution designed to monitor and protect airspace under various conditions, including day and night and adverse weather.

The system encompasses an array of advanced components working in synergy to detect, track, and neutralise unauthorised drones. The TrueView Radar series, including the ground-based R30 and the portable R20, employs advanced AESA (Active Electronically Scanned Array) technology to detect and identify the smallest drones in challenging weather conditions. The EO/IR (Electro-Optical/Infrared) camera system provides high-resolution visual verification and optical classification, complementing radar data for enhanced situational awareness. The company DroneHunter F700 autonomous drone interceptor utilises AI-powered targeting and a capture mechanism to safely neutralise detected drones.

DroneHangar, a housing system, ensures the readiness of DroneHunter F700 interceptors, providing charging and protection from harsh weather conditions and guaranteeing immediate response when threats arise. The centralised software platform integrates sensor data from the entire SkyDome System, enabling operators to monitor, track, and manage drone threats effectively. With a user-friendly interface and real-time threat visualization, it empowers operators to make informed decisions swiftly. KAITUS caters to a diverse range of industries, including airports, energy facilities, law enforcement agencies, defence sectors, correctional facilities, and public venues, ensuring tailored solutions to meet specific security needs.
