Based in Jiangsu, China, and founded in 2007, Jiangsu Kaida Heavy Industry Co. , Ltd. , trading as Kaida Roll, is a provider of R&D and manufacturing services for hot-rolling rolls, primarily engaged in the research, design, casting, heat treatment, and precision machining of critical steel rolling components such as rolls and roll rings. It employs a workforce of 480 people, including over 60 technical specialists in the R&D center covering fields such as smelting, metal materials, casting, heat treatment, physical and chemical testing, machining, and rolling processes.

In September 2026, Kaida Roll raised CNY 255. 6 million in venture funding from Beijing Stock Exchange. In the future, the company plans to expand its production capabilities through the Kaida Xitaihu High-Performance Roll Production Base Project, strengthen its position in the metallurgical roll market, and continue enhancing its manufacturing, heat-treatment, testing, and processing capabilities. The company also aims to broaden its product portfolio of metallurgical rolls and high-temperature alloy products while further expanding its domestic and international customer base.
