Based in Kyoto, Japan and founded in 1968, Johnan Corporation started as an electronic component manufacturer. Since then, the company set up factories throughout Japan and expanded its business. In 2008, the company established a subsidiary in China - Johnan Environmental Protection Technology (Dalian) Co. Ltd.
In 2009, the company was renamed as Johnan Corporation. In 2010, Johnan Corporation merged with Johnan Denki Corp. In 2013, the company established Johnan Qualitative Corp. and Johnan Corporation (Thailand) Ltd.
In 2017, the company merged with Kansai Seiki Industrial Corp. , established Kiban Shuri dot com Co. Ltd and Johnan HRD (Thailand) Ltd. In 2018, the company set up an office in Silicon Valley.
From 2019 to 2021, the company went through a series of acquisitions and mergers within its group. Johnan Corporation offers the following services: electronic product design, assembly of semiconductors, assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs), film processing, assembly of electronic devices, processing of industrial components, PCB repair services, robot teaching, design of automation machinery, and the research and manufacturing of healthcare machinery. Johnan corporation also manufactures the following products: deburring machines, auto labeling machines, remotely operated vehicles, nanotribology measurement devices, oil absorption mats, drain sewage processors and embossed tapes. Johnan Corporation aims to promote sustainable development goals and contribute to realizing "Society 5.
0" proposed by the Japanese government.
