Based in France, and founded in 1955, JM Bruneau, Société par Actions Simplifiée Unipersonnelle is an office equipment distributor founded by Jean-Marie Bruneau. The company has expanded internationally, initially opening its first establishment in Belgium in 1998 before opening up to other European markets such as Spain and the Netherlands. In April 2015, Weinberg Capital Partners acquired the company and eventually sold it to Equistone Partners Europe in October 2017. As of April 2021, the company is being led by its CEO, Nicolas Potier.
Through its e-commerce platform, JM Bruneau, Société par Actions Simplifiée Unipersonnelle primarily retails and distributes office furniture and supplies including IT and telephony, cartridges and toners, stationery and supplies, sanitary equipment, packaging products, kitchen equipment, and various eco-friendly products. In the fiscal year of 2020, the company generated EUR 370 million in revenue. Following the acquisition of Office Depot Italia in April 2021, JM Bruneau, Société par Actions Simplifiée Unipersonnelle plans to expand further by tapping untouched markets and extending its geographic reach internationally.
