Based in California, US, and founded in 2017 by Peter Ternstrom and Tomasz Patan, Jetson AB manufactures and designs fabricated electric aircraft and their components. In September 2023, Jetson AB raised USD 15 million in seed funding from investors and the company's management. Jetson AB's offerings include Jetson ONE, a personal aircraft crafted from a blend of aluminium and carbon fibre, powered by eight robust electric motors. The Jetson ONE boasts an all-up weight of 86 kg, a flight time of 20 minutes, and a top speed of 102 km/h.
In addition, the company also offers SWAE to create Jetson Astro, a robot dog, and integrate ParaZero's SafeAir parachute recovery systems into the Jetson ONE fleet. The company plans to use the September 2023 funding to develop its Jetson ONE personal electric aerial vehicle, which is scheduled for launch in 2024.
