In September 2019, Blackstone Group agreed to acquire Promontory Interfinancial Network, LLC for USD 2. 5 billion.
In October 2019, the transaction was completed. The company's suite of services, including deposit placement programmes like CDARS and ICS, facilitates placing large deposits across FDIC-insured banks within their network, exceeding the standard FDIC insurance limit for a single bank. Additionally, IntraFi SweepSM enables institutions like brokerage firms to sweep client cash into secure, FDIC-insured accounts. IntraFi Yankee Sweep and IntraFi RepoSM cater to specific needs, such as depositing cash in non-U.
S. bank branches and connecting buyers and sellers of bank assets.
