Based in California, US, founded in 2014 by Ben Levi, Lane Lillquist, and Troy Pospisil, InCloud, LLC d. b. a. Ontra operates an artificial intelligence (AI)-based and cloud-based contract automation software that can automate and streamline repetitive legal activities, such as processing routine contracts and tracking obligations in complex agreements.

In June 2025, Ontra raised USD 70 million in venture debt funding from Silicon Valley Bank. Troy Pospisil is the CEO of Ontra. Ontra provides an Insight platform that offers multiple features, such as upload fund documentation, tag obligation (including MFN elections), abstract and assign owners to individual obligations. Insight transforms fund documents, such as managed account agreements, side letters and limited partnership agreements into structured data.

In addition, the company offers legal technology contract automation and intelligence. Contract automation aligns software and artificial intelligence with worldwide lawyers to provide a complete solution to businesses for high-volume and routine contracts. Contract intelligence transforms contracts into insights and actionable data to help companies for making better decisions and maintain a relationship with regulators and business partners. The company will use the June 2025 funding to accelerate product development and expand its suite of products for automating critical workflows across the fund lifecycle.
