By 2010, the company experienced financial difficulty due to the increased competition in the plant industry. In 2016, ILSUNG HISCO Ltd. experienced severe financial difficulty due to massive losses in currency derivatives known as KIKO. In the same year, UAMCO and Opus Private Equity highly valued the company's potentials and acquired the entire stake in the company for KRW 62 billion.
ILSUNG HISCO Ltd. 's main products are plants and equipment that are used in different types of power industries. Some of the company's main products are shell & tube heat exchanger, pressure vessel, reactor, tower & column, etc. The company manufactures processing and plant equipment for oil, gas, energy, and other power industries.
