About

Based in Piemonte, Italy, and founded in 2016 by CEO Michele Santovito, i-TES provides a streamlined thermal coil solution that reduces energy waste and optimizes the management of sources, especially renewable ones. In May 2023, i-TES Srl raised EUR 1. 4 million in venture funding led by investor Eureka! Venture with the participation of investor CDP Venture Capital.

The company operates within the 2i3T Business Incubator and Technology Transfer of the University of Turin. i-TES develops thermal storage systems using phase-change materials (PCMs) and thermochemical materials (TCMs). The batteries are made with materials of biological origin that are safe for health and the environment and have no moving parts to improve energy efficiency by reducing waste in thermal uses. These advanced materials exploit the physical phenomenon of change of state to accumulate and release large amounts of energy.

The batteries integrate with existing and new systems.
