Established in 2011 and based in Beijing, China, Hyperstrong operates as a lithium battery developer that focuses on the research, development, production and sales of smart grid energy storage systems and power battery systems. The company has a CMA and CNAS certified battery and battery system testing laboratory, an electrochemical energy storage system postdoctoral workstation, and Beijing Future Electrochemical Energy Storage System Integration Technology Innovation Center. In October 2021, Hyperstrong closed a pre-IPO funding.

In January 2025, it was listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange Sci-Tech Innovation Board. Hyperstrong mainly provides overall solutions for energy storage systems, new energy vehicle power battery systems, construction machinery power battery systems and smart battery swap stations.
