Based in Espoo, Finland, and founded in 2019 by CEO Fernando De los Rios, CTO Ashish Mohite, and Henry Unterreiner, Hyperion Robotics Oy, a. k. a. Hyperion Robotics operates as a 3D printing technology company that provides manufacturing solutions for construction projects and infrastructure applications.

In October 2022, Hyperion Robotics Oy raised EUR 3 million in venture funding led by Lifeline Ventures, with participation from Goldacre, Rettig Group, Ubermorgen Ventures, and Katapult Accelerator. The company provides an end-to-end solution in the form of mobile 3D printing micro-factories by combining hardware, software, and materials to allow customers to automatically produce reinforced concrete structures for different kinds of industrial and infrastructure projects. The mobile 3D printing micro-factories can work either in a stationary location or travel from site to site. The firm has been working with Iberdrola and Metso Outotec and is deploying its mobile Micro-factories to increase efficiencies and reduce carbon emissions from industrial and infrastructure projects.

Hyperion Robotics plans to use its proceeds from November 2022 funding to scale up its research and development capabilities, ramp up its software and materials technology, and deploy the first micro-factories to large-scale projects.
