About
Based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, and founded in 2016 by William Crowe (CEO), and Hiranya Jayakody, High Eart Orbit Robotics Pty Ltd, also known as HEO Robotics, operates as an industrial machinery company that produces satellite-to-satellite pictures and provides intelligence that enables assessment of the status, operation, and abnormal behavior of objects in orbit. In August 2023, HEO Robotics raised USD 12 million in series A funding led by AirTree Ventures with participation from Salus VC, Y Combinator, In-Q-Tel, etc. HEO Robotics is a satellite imaging system developer that has developed a method for acquiring photographs of satellites, space debris, and valuable resource-rich asteroids. The company has opened up the potential of monitoring space debris and asteroids by merging its satellites with swarm technology, allowing users to access optical images of celestial objects whenever they need them.
The company plans to use the August 2023 funding to expand its market reach and HEO’s camera network.
