Helical Fusion develops stationary fusion reactors using helical magnetic confinement of high-temperature plasmas using a pair of superconducting helical coils with a double-helix structure similar to DNA, for a sustainable source of power generation. The firm aims to provide a sustainable source of base energy by designing a fusion reactor with elemental technology. The company plans to use the April 2026 funding to advance the construction and integrated demonstration of the final verification device Helix HARUKA and progress toward world‑first practical fusion power generation.
