Hedera Hashgraph operates a native, energy-efficient cryptocurrency called HBAR that uses its patented Hashgraph technology and provides a platform for mining and selling HBAR.
The company also offers two additional services with its platform: Hedera Token Service and Consensus Service. Hedera Token Service allows its users to create a decentralized network without smart contracts and can be used to create blockchain-related payment, financial, and supply chain services. Consensus Service is an audit platform built that allows its users to encrypt the content of their blockchain applications for privacy and create auditable logs of events/ track assets with timestamps across any application. Hedera Hashgraph's platform is mostly used by developers to develop globally decentralized applications on top of its platform.
