In April 2024, the firm raised USD 1. 58 million in seed funding led by investor OnePlanetCapital, with participation from investors Carisbrooke Shipping and John Good Group PLC. In December 2025, GT Wings raised an undisclosed amount of venture funding led by Grieg Kapital, with participation from Blackfinch Ventures, and OnePlanetCapitl.

The company offers a wind propulsion system that is made with the help of novel AirFlow Technology to decarbonize the commercial shipping industry. The firm offering is AirWing which is suitable for retrofit and new-build vessels enabling fuel savings and greenhouse gas emission reductions. The company plans to use theDecember 2025 funding to scale manufacturing of its AirWing Jet Sail system and strengthen its global supply chain to meet increasing regulatory requirements for clean shipping.
