About

Founded in 2017 and based in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel, Centure Applications Ltd. , trading under the name Greeneye Technology, develops an AI-driven proprietary selective spraying (SPP) system that helps in the pest control process of businesses in the agricultural industry. Nadav Bocher (CEO), Itzhak Khait (CPO), and Alon Klein Orback (CTO) are the co-founders of the company. In April 2024, Greeneye Technology raised USD 20 million in venture funding led by Deep Insight, including Jerusalem Venture Partners, Syngenta Ventures, Iron Nation, and Orbia Ventures.

The company provides technology that employs artificial intelligence and deep learning technologies to reduce chemical usage while enhancing productivity and profitability for farmers. The firm’s method of combating weeds in agriculture involves the indiscriminate spraying of herbicides across entire fields. Greeneye's solution lies in its selective spraying (SSP) system, which integrates with existing agricultural sprayers. The company can differentiate between weeds and crops, enabling the precise application of herbicides only where necessary by leveraging artificial intelligence.

In addition, the company’s technology provides detailed analysis at multiple levels, from differentiating weeds from crops to identifying weed species, thereby aiding in the fight against herbicide-resistant weeds. The firm’s partners include Syngenta, FBN, AGCO, Millenium Booms, Gevasol, and others. The organization plans to use the April 2024 funding to further develop its artificial intelligence product and expand its business across the US.
