The December 2025 acquisition enables Cursor to combine Graphite’s code‑review and debugging tools with its own platform, streamline multi‑step code changes, and speed up the process from writing code to releasing products. Graphite provides open-source CLI and a code review dashboard that allows developers to create and submit stacked changes easily as well as offers intuitive commands, support for stacks, and more. The company’s platform allows enables developers to synchronize their PRs, reviews, and comments with GitHub. The company generates revenue through tiered user subscriptions, AI‑review add‑ons, and enterprise contracts.
