Founded in 2001 and based in Tokyo, Japan, Graniph Inc. , previously known as Graphis Inc. , is a consumer products firm focusing on providing clothing and home goods. Although the company was established in 2001, its first store was launched in Tokyo in 2000 as a printed T-shirt manufacturer and retailer.
Furthermore, its online store came into operation in 2003. In 2007, Graniph opened its first outlet in Kobe and overseas branches in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore, and in the following years, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand and Dubai. In 2017, the company launched its 100th branch and moved its headquarter to Shibuya, Tokyo in 2022. In March 2026, Tohokushinsha Film Corporation agrees to fully acquired Graniph from Marunouchi Capital.
The deal was announced to complete in April 2026. Graniph Inc. , operates its clothing stores and provides a variety of apparel products including printed T-shirts, jackets and accessories, as well as goods designed for kids such as picture books and lunch plate sets. In addition, it also offers home goods ranging from cushion covers, plates, to stationery and outdoor equipment.
The company plans to use the March 2026 acquisition to support longer-term growth and portfolio diversification.
