Based in Quezon City, Philippines, and founded in 2021 by co-founder Albert Tinio, GoTyme Bank is a joint venture of Tyme, a multi-country digital banking group, with members of the Gokongwei Group, namely Robinsons Bank, Robinsons Land Corporation, and Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. The company offers a range of digital banking solutions through its mobile application, physical kiosks, and free ATM cards. In January 2024, the Bank of the Philippine Islands acquired a 20% minority stake in GoTyme Bank as part of its merger with Robinsons Bank. GoTyme Bank offers a user-friendly mobile app for account management, money transfers, bill payments, and debit card transactions.
The bank enables customers to open accounts seamlessly through either their user-friendly app or kiosks. Customers can send and receive money between GoTyme accounts for free, with a limited number of free transfers to other banks each week. The bank's rewards programme allows users to earn points for debit card purchases at partner stores, redeemable for cash. The company offers customer service through multiple channels, including phone support, email, and kiosk ambassadors.
