Gnotobio

Based in Shenzhen, China, and established in 2019, Gnotobio is a biotechnology company that provides germ-free animal breeding production and contract research organization (CRO) services. The company's R&D team is composed of scientists from international universities and research institutions, such as Broad Institute, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Columbia University.  The germ-free animal experiment center which is a single-family building with an area of about 2000 square meters located in Dongguan.  The company has more than 30 employees.

It provides 1,000 services, covering 57 cities. And the clients mainly include research institutions, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies. In August 2023, Gnotobio raised CNY 10 million in pre-series A funding from new investor Shenzhen Nanshan Strategic Emerging Industry Invest Gnotobio provides the breeding and production of aseptic mice, a one-stop service for the research and development of aseptic animal experimental technology, aseptic breeding of novel animals, development of animal models for major human diseases, bionics research, and biomedical application services.
