Founded in 2010 by Ami Cafaro and based in Rhode Island, US, G-Form is a manufacturer of branded impact protection equipment for action sports and consumer electronics. In July 2012, VO2 Partners invested in G-Form, LLC. financial terms were not disclosed and in April 2021, Eldridge Industries acquired G-Form, LLC. As of 2021, the company’s CEO is Glen Giovanucci and its products are distributed to more than 40 countries The Company provides protective equipment for a variety of team sports, such as baseball, soccer, hockey, and basketball, as well as action sports, such as mountain biking skiing, and snowboarding.
G-Form also creates superior protective solutions for the military, law enforcement, industrial applications and operates as a wholesale distributor of sporting and recreation goods. G-Form has a patented protective gear technology, called smartflex, that is created using advanced polymer formulas. SmartFlex allows athletes to move freely and have minimized risk of injury through its ability to harden on impact. G-Form is used by professional players like Manny Machado(baseball) and it is the official protective partner of Perfect Game.
The company plans to expand its range of products, scale international distribution, enter new sports and non-sports industries, and increase the production of its smartflex technology.
