Founded in 2018 and based in Tokyo, Japan, FURDI operates as a fitness platform that provides AI-based (artificial intelligence) personal training support. As of 2023, the company is being led by its representative Asano Shinobu. In January 2024, FURDI raised venture funding from investor i-nest capital. The firm creates and offers personalized training menus for purposes like weight loss, body tightening, muscle improvement, improving bone density, improving posture, or clearing skin from within, using artificial intelligence (AI).

Users can even create their own programs from a set of over 200 pre-built exercises, and AI analyses user behavior using built-in cameras to offer real-time feedback on the angle, speed, timing, etc. Moreover, personal trainers provide regular counseling to change programs according to the changing needs of users.   The platform charges JPY 7,678, JPY 8,778, JPY 5,478, and JPY 19,800 for various plan packages.   The company intends to use the January 2024 funding to expand its business and build gym facilities.
