Established in 1989 and based in California, US, FrontRange Solutions Inc provides ITSM that delivers Service Management software with fully integrated Voice Automation and Client Management capabilities on-premise and in the cloud with its suite of HEAT applications. In 2006, Francisco Partners, completed the acquisition of FrontRange for USD 200 million in a Public-to-Private deal. Additionally, in February 2015, FrontRange and Lumension, providers of Hybrid Service Management and Unified Endpoint Management software solutions for organizations of all sizes, merged to create HEAT Software.
And in 2017, as part of the transaction by Clearlake Capital to acquire LANDESK, Clearlake merged HEAT Software, its portfolio company, to the new platform investment in LANDESK. As a result, a new company was established under the name Ivanti.
