Based in Tokyo, Japan, established in 2020, FMG is a fleet management company, a business in Africa spun-off from IDOM Inc. which runs a network of stores that buy and sell used cars throughout Japan. Overseas, IDOM is known by its subsidiary Gulliver. FMG partners with dispatch car companies and banks, while IDOM would provide the cars.
FMG organizes the drivers, and provides them directly with used cars and financing. FMG and the dispatch car business, collect and share client attributes, payment history, guarantors, driving history, credit information of the drivers using a fleet management tool and credit information platform. The driver and the vehicle from FMG comes as a set to the car dispatch company. In this way, people who are unable to get credit, are able to get a car and work in a car dispatch company.
