Flourish Savings, Inc.

Based in California, US, and founded in 2018 by Pedro Moura and Jessica Eting, Flourish Savings, Inc. operates as an engagement and financial wellness solution for banks, fintech, and credit unions intended to help them engage and retain clients. In the US, Flourish began by testing end-user mechanics with organizations such as CommonWealth and Opportunity Fund. In 2019, it released a B2C version of the Flourish Savings App as a pilot for its banking platform.

Flourish has licensed its solution to US-based credit unions, Sicoob, and BancoSol in Bolivia. In May 2021, the company received venture funding led by Brazilian venture capital firm, Canary. With participation from other investors Xochi Ventures, First Check Ventures, Magma Capital, and GV Angels as well as strategic angels including Rodrigo Xavier, Beth Stelluto, Gustavo Lasala, and Brian Requarth. Flourish Savings transforms the way people manage their finances and provides assistance to people build positive financial habits by opening an account in the platform to grow savings by playing and unlocking prizes, enabling the financial institutions to attract consumers new to financial services.

Flourish Savings earns its revenue through a partnership model that focuses on user activation and engagement. The company plans to use its new capital to focus to increase its market in Brazil, scale in a few select countries in the Americas, hire and develop new functionalities for the Flourish platform.
