In June 2022, Flexpa raised USD 8. 5 million in seed funding led by new investor General Catalyst Partners, with participation from Accomplice, Andreessen Horowitz, Better Tomorrow Ventures, Comma Capital, Commure, Inc. , Correlation Ventures, Diagram Capital, Greycroft Partners, Hyperplane Venture Capital, PJC, Precursor Ventures, Apollo Projects, Tribe Capital, and Village Global. Flexpa offers a platform for health information exchange where patients have a way to obtain their claims and clinical records.
Patients can also grant others permission to those records electronically. Patients can use Flexpa to share their medical record information, from test results and previous surgeries to current medications. Digital health developers can use Flexpa to connect to new patient access APIs. Moreover, users can use Flexpa API to integrate their claims history into any digital health or fintech app and build powerful products for patients and providers with data from Medicare, individual and family, and employer group plans.
Flexpa is also able for pets' veterinary records.
