Founded in 2007 and based in Bnei Brak, Israel, eToro Group Limited, aka eToro provides an online social trading platform that allows users to trade currencies, commodities, and indices. David Ring, Ronen Assia, and Yoni Assia are the co-founders of the company. In May 2025, eToro raised approximately USD 620 million in an IPO, selling 11. 92 million shares at USD 52 per share at Nasdaq, under the ticker "ETOR".
eToro has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1. 79 million shares of common stock as part of the listing. Following the transaction, BRM Group retained an 8. 7% minority and Spark Capital retained a 13.
9% stake in the company, respectively. The company provides a social trading platform offering a range of trading and investment tools. It enables registered users to interact and gain from each other's experience, manage their capital online, and create a portfolio with cryptocurrencies, stocks, commodities, etc. The firm's DeFi portfolio offers investors instant diversification into several key DeFi crypto-assets.
The company plans to utilize the May 2025 IPO funding for general corporate purposes and organic business growth.
