Based in Milan, Italy, and founded in 1910 by Ermenegildo Zegna, Ermenegildo Zegna Holditalia S. p. A. is a fashion house that began as a wool mill in the Northern Italian town of Trivero, and has evolved to become a global luxury menswear brand.

The company expanded through acquisitions, purchasing the silk weaving manufacturer Tessitura di Novara in 2009, Italian mill Bonotto in 2016, and jersey manufacturer Dondi in 2019. As of July 2021, its global footprint has reached 80 countries with 473 boutiques, with more than 500 employees working across its offices in Italy, Switzerland, and the UK, all under the leadership of Ermenegildo Zegna as CEO, grandson of the founder, and Paolo Zegna as Chairman. In the same month, the group agreed to go public on the New York Stock Exchange through a merger with SPAC Investindustrial Acquisition Corp. Ermenegildo Zegna Holditalia S.

A. is a luxury brand that produces men’s and women’s wear, ranging from clothing to accessories that are marketed under different brand collections including Ermenegildo Zegna, Z Zegna, and Ermenegildo Zegna XXX. The group also manages its own textile division that produces different types of fabrics including wool, cashmere, alpaca wool, and vicuña wool.
