Founded in 2021 and based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, Climerverse Private Limited, trading under the name Equilibrium, operates as a climate technology company that helps individuals and businesses to adopt climate solutions and provides carbon neutralization services. The company was co-founded by Anirudh Gupta and Siddhant Jayaram. In July 2022, Climeverse Private Limited raised INR 94 million co-led by Kalaari Capital, Sequoia Capital India, and Avaana Capital. In September 2025, Equilibrium raised USD 3 million in seed funding co-led by returning investors Kalaari Capital and Peak XV, with participation from another returning investor Avaana Capital.

The products and services offered by the firm help clients in business decision-making through climate action. It offers Climes Lite which offers carbon credits to users’ customers as an environmental reward. It helps clients to host interactive carbon-neutral events, and it integrates API and helps clients’ users to neutralize the carbon footprint of their orders. The company generates revenue by designing innovative financial vehicles that blend concessionary and commercial capital to fund high-impact carbon removal projects in India, monetizing verified carbon credits through proprietary digital MRV technology and partnerships.

The company will use the September 2025 funding to strengthen its technology platform, accelerate eight ongoing projects, and expand operations across nine Indian states.
