In October 2025, Enurgen Inc.

raised USD 4. 1 million in seed funding co-led by new investors BDC Capital, Brightspark Ventures and Diagram, with participation from returning investor MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund. The company’s flagship product, DUET (Dual-sided Energy Tracer), an open-access cloud-based application, empowers solar designers and engineers to optimize bifacial solar panels. DUET’s bifacial design allows control of electricity generation from both sides of the panel and maximizes efficiency through precise positioning on a single-axis tracking system.

The software's time-varying albedo impact analysis monitors each panel in real-time, enhancing fault detection capabilities. Additionally, Enurgen's software fosters collaboration with the solar community through open access and offers algorithm and 3D view factor modeling, for performance analysis, solar asset planning, design, and lifetime management through end-to-end digital twin continuity. Other features of DUET include Fixed-tilt, single, and dual-axis tracking, array geometry impact, meteorology, and geographical analysis, individual cell-to-system analysis, time-varying environmental conditions, and direct and ground-reflected irradiance impact measurement. The company plans to utilize the October 2025 funding to expand its software platform and enhance solar asset performance modeling.
