Egis

Based in Guyancourt, France, and founded in 1970, Egis is currently managed by CEO Laurent Germain and is responsible for the business operations of the company. Egis offers construction, infrastructure, and engineering services for various industrial projects. Caisse des Dépôts is the parent company and owned a 75% stake in Egis, along with partner executives and employees who owned a 25% stake. In September 2021, Tikehau Capital made an acquisition negotiation with Egis.

The parent company Caisse des Dépôts will retain a 34% stake alongside Egis’ executive partners and management who will retain approximately 22% stake. Egis is working with various industrial business clients, construction projects, and engineering fields to provide its smart infrastructure and buildings infrastructure services. The firm also provides services mainly for road operations, architecture, urban planning and landscaping, construction services for mobilities, rail transport, ports, maritime, energy, and environment. Along with its services, Egis also offers emergency responses and consultation for climate and territorial development for its scope clients and locations.

Following the acquisition negotiations by Tikehau Capital, the company is aiming to further continue its development of new strategies and accelerate its business capabilities in the engineering and construction market.
