Based in Toulouse, France, and founded in 2021 by Greg Wyler, E-Space Inc. is democratizing space with a mesh network of secure multi-application satellites that empowers businesses and governments to access the power of space to solve problems on Earth. In February 2022, E-Space Inc. raised USD 50 million in seed funding led by new investor Prime Movers Lab.
The company is composed of two independent entities based in France (E-Space SAS) and the United States (E-Space, Inc. ). E-Space Inc. provides satellite constellation deployments with higher capabilities and lowers the cost to enable a new generation of services and applications, from 5G communications to command and control systems.
The company helps governments and large companies build space-based applications in a capital-light. The company will use the seed funding for E-Space's "Beta 1" launch of its first test satellites in March 2022 as well as its second "Beta 2" launch later this year. Mass production is slated for 2023.
