Founded in 2001 and based in Sweden, Dometic Group AB manufactures leisure products for the RV, marine, commercial, and passenger vehicle (CPV) markets. In 2001, Electrolux divested its interests in its leisure unit, Dometic International (EQT III acquired Electrolux assets and the Dometic operating and legal structure) becoming a stand-alone company which was sold to BC Partners in 2005. Moreover, in February 2011, EQT acquired Dometic Group for SEK 12 billion from a consortium of lenders and employees. In November 2015, Dometic Group raised SEK 5.
396 billion by issuing 112. 42 million shares priced at SEK 48 each, and trading on Nasdaq Stockholm. As of 2022, Juan Vargues is the president and CEO of the company. The company's product range includes refrigerators, sun shades, cookers, sanitation systems, lighting, power equipment, comfort, and safety equipment, windows, doors, and equipment for air conditioning.
The firm provides leisure products for the caravan, motor-home, car, truck, hotel, and boat industries. The organization's brands include Domestic Outdoor, Domestic Home, Domestic Professional, Mobicool, Waeco, and Kampa. Dometic Group also delivers a wide range of workshop equipment for the service and maintenance of built-in air conditioners.
