Founded in 2013 by co-founders Will Shu and Greg Orlowski and based in London, UK, Roofoods Ltd, doing business as Deliveroo, an online delivery platform that offers food delivery services from partnered local restaurants. Deliveroo operates in multiple locations, including Belgium, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Ireland, Qatar, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and the United Kingdom. Deliveroo’s core product is its online platform, which allows customers to order meals from local restaurants. The company partners with a wide range of restaurants, from fast-food chains to independent eateries, offering a broad selection of cuisines. The platform allows customers to browse menus, place orders, and track deliveries through the Deliveroo app or website.
In addition to restaurant delivery, Deliveroo also offers grocery delivery services through partnerships with supermarkets and convenience stores. Deliveroo Editions, the company’s network of delivery-only kitchens, allows restaurants to operate without running a physical location. In addition to food delivery, the firm offers services for corporate clients through "Deliveroo for Work," providing meal solutions for businesses and employees.
