In June 2024, White Cap Supply Holdings, LLC, a portfolio company of Clayton Dubilier & Rice, acquired Dayton Superior Corporation. As of 2024, the company is led by its CEO, Mark Carpenter. Dayton Superior offers engineered construction services and supplies, that range from concrete accessories and chemicals to forming and paving products like fractured fins and barrier dowel aligners for non-residential construction companies constructing commercial and highway projects. Their services also include engineering expertise, training classes, and resources for industry professionals.


The company operates by developing, manufacturing, and retailing construction goods through a network of distribution centres. Some of its brands include Taper-Lock®, Superior TiltTM, Aztec®, BarLock®, Symons®, Steel-Ply®, and Tilt-Werks®, which is a software program for designing tilt-up buildings.
