Verda Cloud Oy

Founded in 2020 and based in Helsinki, Finland, Verda, formerly known as DataCrunch, is a cloud computing provider specialising in GPU-based infrastructure for machine learning, artificial intelligence, and performance computing applications. In September 2025, DataCrunch Oy raised an undisclosed amount of series A funding co-led by returning investor byFounders and new investors Skaala, Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company, and Tesi, with participation from another returning investor J12 Ventures. Individual and other unspecified investors also participated in the round. The round was part of a larger EUR 55 million series A and venture debt funding.

DataCrunch's product portfolio includes GPU instances: These on-demand and long-term instances cater to various computational needs, from training large machine learning models for precision tasks such as FP64 computations. Customers can configure and deploy instances tailored to specific requirements. GPU Clusters: These are custom-built clusters managed by DataCrunch. These are equipped with NVIDIA GPUs, including the H100 and H200 series, and utilise advanced interconnect technologies, such as NVLINK and InfiniBand, for communication.

Serverless Inference: This service offers autoscaling and deployment for model inference. It eliminates manual setup, enabling customers to deploy models with minimal effort while managing computational resources dynamically. Additional features include ISO 27001-certified security measures, instant machine setup, and engineering support available through a user-friendly dashboard. The company will use the September 2025 funding to expand its AI infrastructure, grow its team and services, and develop a Europe-based AI gigafactory.
