Cool Planet Technologies Limited

Based in Guildford, UK, and founded in 2019, Cool Planet Technologies operates as an environmental service provider that offers carbon capture solutions to corporates to meet their net-zero targets. In September 2022 Cool Planet Technologies completed a €3 million fund raise from three blue-chip investors -- eni next, Audacy Ventures, and Neva SGR. The company provides services that can help companies to capture carbon they produced during manufacturing process. Its core technology is developed from a membrane-based process called "PolyActive", that aims for the large-scale capture of carbon dioxide from industrial flue gas emissions.

The technology is developed by Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon, part of Germany’s largest research organisation. Such technology can be applicable to configure from capturing a few thousand to multi-millions of tonnes of CO2 per annum (tpa), and will be flexible enough to growing start-ups to meet their ESG targets.
