Cathode blocks for aluminium smelting and blast furnace linings for pig iron manufacturing are among the products in the portfolio. It also makes carbon electrodes and Soederberg paste for metallurgical smelting operations for items like silicon metal, as well as specialty graphite for a range of uses, such as the chemical industry.
The company has a turnaround plan aimed at increasing production capacity by diversifying activities, backed up by considerable R & D efforts, EUR 45 million in productive investments to modernize factories, and a systematic competitiveness improvement to keep up with the international competition.
