Founded in 2020 and based in Singapore, ClayStack is a crypto staking platform that allows users to stake their tokens while also participating in the DeFi ecosystem. Mohak Agarwal is the founder and current CEO of the company. In July 2021, the company secured USD 5. 2 million in seed funding from several prominent blockchain investor funds, putting it on course to introduce innovations to proof-of-stake (Pos) mechanisms.
The platform opts for a novel approach towards staking and makes use of relayers and oracles to ensure that interchain communication is possible with any blockchain. Users will be able to directly mint the comparable derivative token on the Ethereum chain when they deposit tokens to ClayStack smart contracts. The company plans to release the alpha version of its staking protocol in the third quarter of 2021.
